I mean you might be able to correct it, but there can be compression.
Improper posture can do it too, so why not?

how tall are pro squat-ers from the old days til now?
I'm up about .5 inch and I squat and deadlift on a regular basis.
everyone seemed taller when i started to do squats.
I hear Pur used to be a full 6-3 before he started weight lifting.

its true...theres a guy at my gym that loves to squat, but now his knuckles scrape the ground when he walks
