Ok, I have some rules set to run for my Inbox in Outlook XP, but they don't run automatically when I send/receive. I have to manually goto Tools > Rules Wizard > Run Now for them to work. I have them active. I want them to run automatically when I open Outlook or check for new mail. For example I have a junk mail rule to block certain domains, and when I get new mail in my Inbox from that domain it doesn't put the e-mail in the Junk Mail folder. I have to manually run the rule and then it will put it in the Junk Mail folder.

And did you write the rules correctly? You HAVE use check messages as they arrive, the others don't work on the fly

I started them from blank rules. Here is what I have.

"Apply this rule after the message arrives
suspected to be Junk e-mail or from Junk Senders
move it to the Junk E-Mail Folder"

I don't see how to make it "Check messages as they arrive"

The rules will work when I run them manually and I do have them turned on.
