I always heard that any crime commited while wearing a vest is an automatic felony.

Oh no! I must be in trouble with mine! I hear hard armor is doubly illegal. Guess I'm really screwed.

$100 how? $100 because that's what you paid for a vest and are a felon, or $100 because that's what you plan to spend now that you know you can own one? Either way, you're not getting a good vest for $100, I guarantee 100%.

EDIT: Unless the felony you've committed was buying a stolen vest for $100. Maybe THEN you'd get a good vest for that price.

$100 lost on the bet i had with my cousin....i could've sworn that it was illegal to have a vest...and i knew somebody that got locked up for having a vest but i guess it was because he was a convicted felon...

well considering that 50 cent is worth millions and has had attempts on his life it could be a special case....plenty of people here on ot walk around with a gun on their waist and another on strapped to their ankle legally, if i did the same i would be locked up for awhile....

my question was more if you needed a license or some kind of approval...and besides i was mainly going off of the fact that someone i know got locked up because he was found wearing a vest....but now i see that it was probably because he was a felon...

50 cent wears one to look like a badass "gangsta" since he wears it in the open and half the time it's not even worn properly. Wearing a concealment vest on the outside just lets whoever is shooting you know to aim for the places not covered.

which, btw makes him look like an idiot. I wore one daily for years and hated that thing. Heavy, chaffed, hotter than hell, no ventilation. I had side panels too that really made wearing it a freaking nightmare BUT those side panels saved my ass once, so you give up comfort and movement for that one chance it saves your life.

The new designs though that the military are using are pretty sweet. L3 soft armor, half the weight of a L2.

Interceptors are NOT lightweight. They're hot, cover a lot of area, and most soldiers hate them until they get saved by theirs. I've got one sitting in my room. I'll weigh it without plates tomorrow sometime and let you know what it clocks in at.
