shoud i take the day off aswell???? its a back/tri night
what about taking off tonight? shoud i just go in and do these exercises????
I do it at the end of my workouts once or twice a week.
If you're just doing back today I'd go ahead and lift. I don't see how it would hurt anything.
there is a tai chi movement called 'the teacup exercise' that my coach used to fix his rotator cuff. it's pretty simple, but a quick google didn't reveal anything that could show you how to do it. maybe if you research you can find out.

edit: just went all the way through them without stopping. Damn, didn't realize how bad I needed to do some rotator work, it was burning like hot fire.
