Or should I find something else...I don't have any headboard so how could I tie her up? She wants both wrists and ankles so she can't move..so I can tease her:hs:

If you use rope, just be sure it's not hemp.. unless you want it to hurt :o

hemp is the BEST rope to use.. you just have to know how ot treat it before you use it.

I just Just soft nylon rope. Get 2 lenths and run them around the head and foot of the Mattress then you have good base to tie her too with anything; tormn up tube socks, Silk robe belts, ties, belts, strips of towels..... Or rope.

Sounds like you'd do just as well with a pair of cuffs for the wrists and a bar for the ankles.

Hemp rope holds knots. They sell silk bondage rope at one of my local porn palaces, but I think that is a load of crap. Silk is too slippery to get it to hold against any serious pressure. Nylon tends to slip too, and hardens up badly over time. It may not be that big of an issue for light bondage, but you definately don't want to try any kind of suspension work with silk. Hemp doesn't have to be scratchy. It should be softer than nylon.

It was like six bucks at the adult bookstore? I just googled a site for reference to what I was talking about. I like it because it doesn't give rope burn, & pleather to me is a turn on.

Two contrasting sensations, like sharp / tickle, rub / smack, cold / hot, smooth / bumpy are usually good things to alternate. Works best with a blindfold :naughty:

Touch, lick, tease until she is squirming, then stop completely for a minute. Start again in a different spot. Stop. Go. Stop. Also works with a blindfold, but since she's bound, it won't really matter. She can't grab you if her hands are tied.

Look at her for a really long time. Worship her body with your eyes. A lot of women find it really hard to take intense scrutiny of their bodies, especially when they are exposed and cannot move into what they think is going to be a more pleasing position, cannot close their legs, and cannot cover themselves in any way. The :o turns into such a lovely warm feeling, and eventually it does help break down negative body image.

Hehe we use old Tai Kwan Do belts for tie downs, I was in up untill Red belt so I've got a ton of them. They are really thick and wide, soft and hold knots. If you can get to a local supply shot and you buy a pack of them they usually go really cheap and are multi purpose.

Go to home depot and get some tie-downs for a truck with hooks on each end. Be sure they are 15' or longer and then hook them to the frame, over the bed, and down the other side.

Then get some metal "D" or "O" rings, some double-ended metal clips (like those key ring things) or some Carabiners (those mountain climbing clip-things) and some leather cuffs.

    Good times, good times...

The first and foremost thing to consider in rope play is SAFETY. Discuss this before hand. Discuss it during... COMMUNICATION IS KEY, and could be the difference between an incredible experience, and a permanately damaged limb.

If you are role playing, discuss a safeword before hand and then trust her judgement... no matter what. The safeword (if used) is ALWAYS to be honored.

Have a pair of EMT (or "Bandage") scissors handy (the ones with the flat part of the blade so it won't cut skin) in case the safeword is used, or an emergency arises, to cut the rope and get them out ASAP. Rope is fairly inexpensive... nerve damage is not.

The most comfortable rope and easiest to use for beginners would probably be 3/8" braided nylon. It is very comfortable, smooth to the skin, and easy to handle as it's not too small, or too bulky. Twisted is OK, but will unravel much easier, and isn't as comfortable, but a lot of people use it for the "artistic marks" it leaves. You can pick up this braided nylon rope at almost any outdoors store in the boating section (often used for dock line). You can usually find it for $15 - $20 for a 50 foot section. Then you can cut it to various sizes for your needs, and "whip" the ends (This is a technique for wrapping the ends which is also comfortable [as opposed to burning], and keeps the rope from freying).

This part is also HUGELY crucial. Study knots and binding techniques very intently, until you know it backwards and front. Using any knots that slide, or slip knots will quickly lead to loss of circulation and can quickly cause permanent damage. None of your knots should ever slip or move, and after tieing them, you should have room for 2 of your fingers between the rope and the skin... don't worry, they still won't be able to slip out of it. For beginning work for wrist and ankle restraints, try a french bowline. It's a very simple, and very strong knot. A simple google search finds this page with instructions for this knot:

    http://ms.ha.md.us/~hotpink/knots/bowline/bowline-med.html

If you want to get into other heavier tying, the square knot is key. Do some searching around as there really are a lot of great resources for info on this topic, but always remember safety first.

If you want a compromise between hemp and nylon/silk, cotton rope is really good. The only draw back with cotton rope is that it's almost impossible to untie the knots in it. So you'll probably need to cut the rope off your partner . . . which could be a good or a bad thing. :naughty:

Rope is good, nice and strong and leaves pretty imprints on the skin. Just make sure you know what you're doing, because rope can become dangerous if not used correctly (re:keep a pair of scissors handy). Spontaneous objects (as I'm sure someone has already mentioned, I just skimmed and responded) like pantyhose and men's ties are equally as effective and fun. And everytime she see's said object later, she'll think of the experience.

HEres my trick, go to wal-mart or equivilent, go to fabric section they have about 2" wide velcro take sticky sides aply them to eachother, cut to desired length (my gf has tried her hardest to break them still holding strong) then go to the hard ware section they have white nylon rope that is very soft. it does the trick.
