what are you opinons of it? is it worth 500 bucks? basically any info would be helpful, looking into one cause it is an accurate semi auto that seems pretty rugged

and as a sidenote, what is the difference between an PSL and an FPK?

$500 with optics? good deal, FPK and PSL are the same as far as I know, romanian made, based on the russian Dragunov, but the romanian guns are really just ak's chambered in 7.62x54r. Dunno how good the romanian scopes that come on them are. A .308 savage will outshoot it but I think the PSL has a higher fun factor :dunno:

Depending whats included might be better of skipping and buying on your own, also I'de get the full length none of the paratrooper crap i see them selling.

definitly, i plan on using it as a long range plinker for the most part so the long gun is 100% for sure, for me 2 in groupings at 100yds w/ practice is more than acceptable, and cheap (for the most part) ammo is awesome

you own a TIGR right? IIRC

2" at 100 shouldn't be a problem with one, yeah i got a TIGR cheap surplus works ok for just fun plinking but when you really want to try for best groups you can get get a few boxes of match grade ammo, or start reloading. I dont know what your budget is like but if you can swing it I'de probably take the rifle alone and spend another 200-250 on a better optic.

money is kinda tight, but ive been wanting a rifle for quite a while, somehtign to call my own, i wouldnt be shooting past 200yds so it def. wouldnt be an issue, theres a place that sells the 8x illuminated scope for 137, so i would prolly hop on that

another question, would an SSG-97 from interordnance be a better choice when they come back in stock to avoid a parts kit?
