I was doing these today at the gym and after I was finished a guy commented on my form and what things that I was doing wrong such as rounding my back too much having my feet pointing out. Now I don't think my form was that bad I may have been rounding my back a bit not enough to really matter my feet were pointing out because other wise my knees bother me the next day. For the most part I do them quite similar to this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5eZA_QDy9cY with the difference being I stand wider and my knees come forward a bit, Is there anything wrong with that? I have not being doing these for that long so I might was well try to correct my form now.

I've usually found that 99% of gym 'advice givers' are either skinny, skinny fat, or don't look like they train. If you're doing the RDLs like in the vid then you're fine. If you're really worried find a huge strong looking dude in your gym and ask his opinion, or bring a non-retarded friend along and ask em to check your form.

If your back is rounding too much, use less weight. There is no sense using a weight which is going to lead to a potential injury, making things shitty. Use a weight where back rounding is kept to a minimum, and if you must, increase the reps. Once your back can handle it, increase the weight. Curious why you are doing RDL's? It is not an exercise you should be doing all the time...

    WSB routine

Maybe I will knock the weight down a bit...

I do recognize that my form is not perfect but it was not that bad.

rounded back doesn't necessarily mean too much weight... it could just be shitty mobility or lack of awareness.

I work out at the PSC just off of the parkway. It is not that bad but there are probably better ones out there.

The one in the OP link I always thought was an SLDL.
And with legs totally straight with limited ROM I thought was RLDL. :dunno:

    focus on these things:

    -keep shins perpendicular to floor
    -keep knees stationery
    -keep back straight/slightly arched
    -look forward
-focus on sticking ass out (sounds homo, but that's how it's done)

i was doing everything else right and still couldn't get it... you'll feel it once you start focusing on keeping your shins perpendicular to the floor.

yes make sure you arch your back. this will prevent injury, and put less strain on your back.
