Romance - what is your all time favourite?

Discussion in 'Entertainment' started by MissAnthropy19, Oct 12, 2004.

  1. What is your most favourite and least favourite romance movie or romantic comedy?

My all time favourite is When Harry Met Sally and least favourite is Serendipity although there are some other shockers out there.

    How about you?

Not really a true romantic movie, but City of Angels. Saddest movie ever!

And I always get a little something in my eye at the end when he says to his angel-buddy after being asaked if he would do it again, knowing what he knows now:

    You're so cool...you're so cool...you're so...cool...

For the straight-up "romance" aspect of it?

Since we're treading the romance/romantic comedy route...

I'll chime in with Sleepless in Seattle.

The Princess Bride, Before Sunrise, Pretty Woman, and My Best Friend's Wedding are faves too.

Breakfast at Tiffany's. Audrey Hepburn (Holly Golightly) reminds me of most of the women I wind up dating.

Punch Drunk Love, although probably not my favorite romance, is the only awesome one that comes to mind right now.
