MMA rolling with the gi on video

    its good you start standing up.. gives you a good advantage over most people. wearing a gi kinda handicaps you too, which helps make you stronger in a sense. but you should encourage people where you train to get some cheap judo gis or something so you can train gi chokes, and sweeps and all that stuff. contrary to what people believe, bjj is primarily a gi sport.

    even though i really do think no gi is more fun :p

    I think the gi makes it much easier to handle larger opponents. At first I didn't like wearing it, but now I am getting more comfortable in it

    if they know what to do with your gi, it makes your life hell, believe me

    it makes it easier for you to handle them when THEY wear it. not when you wear it

    hm... I guess its b/c my biggest training partner isn't so good with the gi on. He gets super frustrated when I control him in my guard using his collar.

    Looks like you like your armbar :p I was thinking you were going to go for the reverse cobra when you had the sidemount and his inside elbow was elevated.
