    "word on the street here is vegas is the scale was broken after the HW's and all the other fighters weighed in. they realized it after riggs somehow gained 1.5 lbs after the 1st attempt. after recalibrating it riggs would have made weight but he had already started hydrating and was up to 176. "

    Either way it's a title fight and he was 2 and a half pounds over initially.

    And for fucks sake I doubt he could even lose much more weight. He used to fight HW in amateur events @ 300lbs, hense the name Diesel.

    Its pretty obvious the scale wasnt calibrated properly though.

    true, hes owning himself cutting that much weight, cant be good. i wonder what he walks around at? im sure 300 was bulked up. and 170 is obviously cut wayyy to much.

    Yes current day his weight is 205 before fight training & cutting not a few years ago though. Doesnt matter much anyhow seeing as he didnt win.

    he looked pretty helpless on the ground with hughes. I guess his size advantage did nothing for him.

    He was pretty helpless in general. Hughes is at a completely different level as a fighter.
