So I went back to my hometown for my 28th birthday, and my family and friends managed to throw a huge shindig with people from all over my past, it was very cool. I had one friend (who I keep in touch with) who was talking mad smack about how he was gonna kick my ass, KO me, throw me, choke me out, etc... so anyway we had mats and gear so we got after it.

by the time he got there and was ready to spar I already had like 10 cups of keg beer so excuse my sloppyness. I know my hip movement on the bottom is pathetic (it's usually quite good) but jesus christ it was 90 degrees Texas heat, the mats were probably over 100 degrees. Hot as a motherfuck.

So here's that vid, Tommy (me) vs Joel

Next up I have a friend who did BJJ in the navy and has a few lbs on me, and wanted to grapple. I'm the skinny one.

and last up pure hilarity. Josh, 300 lbs of young testosterone vs Bill, 160 lbs of drunk idiot. Josh by calf-chrusher-bodyslam. Another buddy comes and jumps josh from behind and taps him with a fishook

Way better than I would have done after that many beers.

Fuck standing around in the heat rolling outside; drunk or not.

Does the guy in the black gloves have any bjj/mma/grappling experience?

Just curious. It looks like he just lets you pull guard and then hangs out there. No pass, no nothing. :dunno:

 When you threw the first arm bar and his only idea was to swim the other arm in there I really figured you were going to catch him with something from the bottom.
