I hope there is some freak match between him and Bob Sapp.
I'll give him the benefit of the doubt until anything is set in stone. He could probably take care of some cans.
He would do much better in UFC where he could utilize his wrestlng. I'm sure he could pick up bjj faster than most too. Either way I think it will be fun to see him fight in any legit organization.
^^^like back in the WWE?
who knows he may have been training hard. He has a strong wrestling background and may very well win his first fight assuming the rules allow ground work. Look at Rulon Gardner... he won his first fight with hardly any training other than his wrestling.
Weird, for a guy with a wrestling background to want to debut in K1. He should start out with some MMA organization where he can use his wrestling and probably get a few wins over some cans.
k1 is also an mma organization fyi
I know it is, but they obviously tend to focus on the Striking matches.
brock should go on the ultimate fighter
and change his last name to samson
I wonder how good his standing game is. He's an awesome wrestler and a damn beast in general.
He's going to get destroyed
I guess we kind of don't give respect people who start off as entertainers, then end up doing the "real thing." But if his WWE atlethic performance in some odd way is comparable to his possible bout, it should be good.
except he wrestled 1st before he acted for WWE so i dont get it.
he's wrestled all his life and was an ncaa heavyweight national champ a few years back.. so he didn't start off as an entertainer.
I just realized...He's going to be fighting in Heroes right? I think Lesnar could be a force. No one-besides wrestlers of course- realizes what it takes to be a NCAA D1 champ. I've noticed alot of people tend to dismiss it because it's collegiate, but not even Randy Couture or Matt Hughes, although they achieved all american status, won the NCAAs. Also, I've never watched WWE, but I'd imagine it takes quite an athlete for a man that size to be performing the acrobatics and stunts he does. If Lesnar isn't as stubborn as everyone in Hammerhouse and embraces what it takes to be a true mixed martial artist, I think he will surprise everyone...except for wrestlers...
It would be interesting to say the least... You can't win a ncaa national championship if you're a bitch...
