at people who use wordpress as a cms.
Wordpress is slow, poorly coded and gets destroyed at the first sign of a load increase. Because it's architecture is so poorly written, it has so many weak points in it. SQL injections, still seem to cause huge issues... that is basic stuff you should learn back when you do your first 'Hello World' app.
As well, there are so many better options like XOOPS, Joomla, Drupal. Hell even IronPoint (written in ASP for IIS) is better then Wordpress.
the site ive got running wordpress on has been dugg a few times, and it didnt go down. so i would say you need research your claims first before you post.
although i will admit it can be slow at times.
My research? I'd say check the general consciousness of most framework developers. But they wouldn't know anything, and not like I'm a framework architect or anything...
for 99% of the people its more than enough. OH NO my site went down when I got dugg, for most people that never happens anyway, and if you have decent hosting it shouldn't anyway.
