A&P Rochester Americans at Hamilton Bulldogs

    I was able to sneak my 80-200mm 2.8 in to last week's Bulldogs to take some pictures and i'm looking to get some C&C on what you guys think.

    Any tips on PP/composition would be appreciated!

    Almost all of these were shot through smudged glass so these might have benefited from better PP. I don't know if the meta data will show up but they were shot with a D90.

    meh, hockey photos just aren't interesting.

    They all look too blue in terms of white balance to me.

    Ask Mr. Dylan Lynch about this stuff, hes the expert

    shooting through plexi can really suck. There is nothing good about it. At the olympic venue, CHP, the plexi eats about 2/3 of a stop. Also, it makes all your images soft and gives nasty reflections.

    I'll just try to share a few of my thoughts on the photos

    Not your fault, but shooting hockey through plexi does suck. I've been shooting my sons games from the bench areas when i can, because all of my plexi pics come out like crap, even when I focus at the other end of the ice.

    I"ll look in to stealing someone"s 300 for saturday"s playoff game :mamoru:

    Tonight i"ll try to fix the wb when I get home but I"m usually pretty bad at getting it perfect
