my road runner connection ALWAYS disconnects. Anyone got any tips of what to do? This thing sucks ass and the Tech Support NEVER EVER answers. It stays up for about 5 minutes. I'm suprised I can post this. Please help. Maybe the line needs cleaned or something, hell I don't know.

Try a different pc so you can rule out an actual pc hardware problem. If it still loses it's connection, make them come out and inspect your lines. I have seen similar problems caused by squirrels and other pests chewing on the cable at the pole. also have RR swap out your modem with a new one. If you still have problems it may be time to replace your inside/outside coax.

Have them check the modem first. This will typically be the problem..
