how do i do it? what programs to use???? thanks
From a DVD movie?
I don't think there is a way to rip the audio track without ripping the fill vob file(s)
However once you've done that, rip the vob, you can ise DVD2AVI which makes a wav file which you can then turn into an mp3 or anything else
There is another idea that's possible as a cheap rip. Play the dvd like normal with whatever dvd player software you use and use something like SoundRec.exe or anything else that can record live audio.
Open the Volume contorls and switch to the Record side and make sure that Wave is select.
No find the beginning of where you want to record, start the recorder and then switch the player and start playing. The reocrder will record any sounds played from the system. You'll have to use an editor later to knock out any extra blank space that was recorded.
It's cheap and dirty, but it works.
thanks. i think i'll go for the 1st method.
