No name yet, but it's Chevrolet's flavor of the new GM 7-8 passenger crossovers. It also replaces the godawful Uplander minivan.

I hope you aren't saying that those are some examples of GM's stellar designs. That interior looks awful plain, and the Trailblazer is meh. Looks like your run of the mill old school Blazer with some wal mart plastic body cladding.

Phew, had me going there for a second. The trailblazer is a giant POS. Only things I would consider buying from GM have a Saturn nameplate on them.

wait, im confused... i never said the trailblazer was nice... its crap, and this new thing you posted looks like ass. I was saying, that the guy that approves these designs needs to be fired. I dont see how anyone can let these designs go into production.

Trail blazer wasnt bad...at least the engine wasnt. They had serious rear end and electronic problems though.

I actually like the Acadia, but was astonished when I saw how much it was!! For a few grand more you could buy an Escalade. GM should possibly start looking at their pricing too.

Heh...my first thought when I read the title and saw that pic was "damn, someone tail-ended the prototype. That sucks."

Only later did I realize it was intended to look that way.

i'm a big GM fan, always have been, but man, the new designs and stylings coming out these last few years are really terrible. it's like they're watering down the 'GM' signature look to make their vehicles look like all the japanese imports. they need to can their new designers, and the people who make the decisions to keep / replace certain vehicles (i.e. replace the s10 w/ the colorado, although i like the colorado styling, the engine choices are terrible; and to replace the trailblazer with that above).
