    I don't hate him, he did what he could with anime to make it viable in the US back in the early 80s. What he did laid the groundwork for it's Western popularity today.

    I didn't actually watch Robotech until Toonami ran it in the late 90s, but even as a high schooler I was hooked. I credit it for getting me hooked on Macross in general. It was obvious when Robotech moved on to the "Dana" story that something jumped the shark, it made sense that there were two additional unrelated series written into it. I only watched the other two once. Macross I must have watched a million times.

    I do remember his old school dubs of anime like Vampire Hunter D, Robot Carnival, Lensman, 3x3 Eyes and others. The dubs Streamline put out were really excellent, much better than most of what came in the 90s. Robot Carnival is still one of my very favorite anime titles.
