Pinched nerve in my lower back, makes it a little painful to ride. I should be good to go next week!

    Do want.

My mom doesnt understand why I want a bike in Tampa. There arent any reasons not to want a bike in Tampa. So many places to explore and so many towns just outside of tampa to explore and THREE bridges that are always littered with speed junkies after midnight. St. Pete and the beaches. :hs:

Want so bad, resources so slim.:sadwavey:

that's why your mom doesn't want you to have it.

you're going to die on it.

i wish we had rain here, it's fun to ride in rain. instead we have 108F weather right now (42C), and that's just what the thermometer says - no humidity in there.

Been racing cars. And my road legal bike is burning oil. I ride more in the winter than I do in the summer; it's 102 out right now, 105 down the hill.

That being said I'm putting a headlight on the Husky and terrorizing the countryside this weekend.

i'm just saving more cash to buy a bike with, and looking for perhaps a used one in the mean time (ninja 650)

there's been this 04 250 on CL for the past few weeks, apparently no one has the money and the guy keeps reposting it. it has ~350 miles on it and was laid down once on the left side, but he only wants $1650 for it :hs: i'd buy it but i need to ride on the freeway every day and it's a bit small for me (6'1", 280# :o)

I hate you for saying that.... I'm dreading what will be my first winter as a motorcycle owner.

On any note the weather has finally shaped up around here. Fortunately last week the rain in the forecast didn't amount and the next 10 days looks perfect (although a little warm).
I'm gonna get enough miles on this thing this year yet it might be worthwhile looking for a newer one next spring (or get in on a fall closeout) :hs:

I'll ride until it goes down to 36. Any lower and I'm afraid there could be a patch of ice around the next bend.:noes:

last winter in d.c. we had more salt than snow... I felt the weatherman should have been predicting levels of salt on the road. it's rediculous how much they did everywhere for nothing. first time my jeep saw salt as well.. now i've got rust spots in random places. .

Patiently awaiting my bike so I can then not be active in the forums. ;) I know a guy at work who rides his Victory rain/shine/snow/sleet/hail. Even when the temps get to sub-32f he rides to work. At 110+ mph. Yep. Hardcore.
