I did the same thing with clannad. Wanted to watch a few eps over, and ended up rewatching both clannad and clannad after.

Fucking Mikoto..I teared up during that arc too. However, Kanon really didn't do it for me..Clannad Afterstory though...holy shitfuck, that was a trainwreck and manly tears were shed.

Yeah, they don't make many "adult themed" anime...most romances stop while they're still in high school and I really can't think of any that deal with getting married, having kids, and managing interpersonal relationships with other people once you're an adult...Clannad is basically the only show that I know of that does that.

I loved Kimi Ga Nozomu Ein...I don't think I could watch kimagure orange road though, it's just too old for me and the 80's anime art style really pisses me off for some reason

Kimagure Orange Road is quite good. I hated the ending though.

The series or film ending? The film ended the entire story and I loved every minute of it.

Maison Ikkoku and Kimagure Orange Road are still the best anime romances ever created.

Probably the most epic romance ending out there.

Hmmm. It has been awhile so I am not sure. Pretty sure I watched the film. I guess it wasnt that is was bad, it was just that I felt so bad for the "other" girl. She just got totally screwed over.

That's a big problem for me, too. Though not nearly as much as that idiotic main character.

Dude, I've watched this series twice and for some reason it just wouldn't click with me. I've also watched Clannad, Kimi Ga Nozomu Eien, Ef a Tale of Memories, and multiple other popular romance anime and it just wouldn't click for me.

The only romance anime that's ever made me have some sort of emotional response was KareKano.

    Am I broken :wtc: ?

Makoto was the little girl, right? That was the most emotional an anime ever got me.
