We all know what this product is, but here is the link

I chose the 42" version in OD Green since it got the best reviews.

The case is a nice deep green, not faded as it appears on the website. The construction is very very solid and the padding is thick and firm.

Front of the case: You can see the three detachable pockets, all with strap and velcro closure as well as the middle zip compartment and the main rifle storage compartment

    Here is the right pocket

Flap open on the right pocket: you can see the large velcro strap and the bungee cord to sinch the pocket tight.

Inside of the right pocket, it is divided into two sections, and can expand quite a bit.

Under the right pocket, you can see two snaps that secure it to the body of the case. In my opinion it is very secure.

Here is the center pocket, it is larger then the left and right pockets.

These straps on either side of the center pocket help keep everything snug

Top view, handles and more straps: I put a quarter next to the zipper to show size

Back of the bag with shoulder strap. The padding is also removable with velcro

Inside the smaller compartment, two sleeves with velcro closure

Inside the main compartment: velcro straps to hold the rifle in place

Rigid padding surrounds the main compartment

Overall, I'm thrilled with this case, I think its easily worth three times the price and I'll be buying at least one more.

The front side pockets will hold 5 30rd AR mags each, and the center will hold 7 as an FYI to anyone.

    Yeah

I have a 14.5"/16" one and the 42" bag doesn't hold my AR as snugly as a shorter bag would.

Whatever the OP is using to resize their photos (or maybe just the camera) is playing hell on the texture of the fabric/webbing - like a tight pinstripe suit on TV.

I've bought multiple (too many to note here) things from CTD, and it's fucking incredible for the non-LEO/MIL guy. Fucking shit is so affordable and extremely high quality. I still can't believe they've not raised their prices that much over the years. I've got quite a few of their MOLLE bags/items and I've not had any problems.
