returning to working out

    my biggest issue is my muscles don't have the endurance or GPP i used to. my absolute strength isn't terrible for not having worked out in so long, but after my first exercise i.e. bench, my triceps/pecs/delts have little strength.

    is there anything I can do to speed up the neurological adaptation? supplemental work until totally fatigued? i.e. up the volume?

    Just give it plenty of time for recovery between working out the same muscle groups, they should come back fairly fast.
