Retrieving the admin password

    Is there anyway to do it? Preferably without the startup disc since i cant push the key to boot it from a bluetooth keyboard...As far as i know anyways since im a total mac newb. :hs:

    I'm pretty sure you can change the root password by booting into single-user mode. I'd have to google the details. But it involves booting with a key held down.

    I think you can do that with a bluetooth keyboard, at least I hope so, because that's what I have on my iMac. :hs: FYI an alternative way to boot from CD/DVD would be to change the startup disk from System Preferences.

    What's your excuse for forgetting the password anyway?
