So I'm at college and I get a call that my parents can't get on the network at home.

the network key has been deleted from their laptop. And they lost the piece of paper. Is there a way to retrieve the key off my mbp?

I don't want to go home and reset the router.

You should be able to find it in your Keychain, just open up /Applications/Utilities/Keychain Access and search for "airport".

It wasn't saved in my keychain.

I talked my sister through resetting the router completely since they forgot that password as well. Last time I scribble down passwords on a notecard.

I finally convinced my parents to save their passwords in a spreadsheet. We were constantly resetting shit. :hs:

    somehow they'd delete the spreadsheet.

I'm considering making a hard binder with a everything in it. My mom is always asking what her email addy/pass is.
