Weighed in at 75.9kg for the 77kg class - i was expecting to be around 76.5 but must have dropped a bundle overnight.

Previous competition i lifted 83kg/106kg for a 189kg total. In training, my PR's have been 90kg/110kg.

    Snatch attempt 1: 85kg - good lift
Santch attempt 2: 90kg - miss (caught this way too high and just couldnt hold it behind)
Santch attempt 3: 90kg - miss - rubbish lift i think i rushed this one due to nerves

    Clean & Jerk attempt 1: 105kg - good lift
    Clean & Jerk attempt 1: 110kg - good lift
Clean & Jerk attempt 1: 113kg - miss (couldnt get out of the clean, just nothing left i guess)

Total: 195kg - this was enough to get the Bronze medal.

Not exactly what i was hoping for, but i guess when its your 3rd competition and you've only been training for 6 or so months its not a bad result :hs:

i highly encourage any F&N'ers to take up actual competition in PL,OL or strongman (whatever floats your boat)

competing in these just takes your appreciation to another level, makes training more meaningful IMO

humbling yet so rewarding at the same time :bigthumb:
