I tried out my Mr Clean Autodry, and it is beyond pimp.. EVERYONE needs one of these things. I had heard rumors that it stripped wax, which are way false.

Next up, I tried the new product from Meguiar's. Meguiar's NXT wax. It was some synthetic wax that a ton of zaino leghumpers were switching to. I now see why.

The paint on my car is pretty crappy to begin with.. It has a good amount of scratches & chips. Well, it looks straight bad ass now. Deepest mirror shine I've EVER seen. It's like zaino without all the BS.

Mr Clean Autodry $19.95 @ Walmart
    Meguiar's NXT $14.95 @ Advance Auto Parts

In the 4th pic, you can see some the scratches I'm talking about. It didn't REMOVE any.. but it did hide a good amount of them. For the price, this shit is amazing.

How long has NXT been out? Any reports back on the durability of it?

I agree that NXT is a great product and the fact that you can buy it off the shelf only makes it better. It does have very light abrasive cleaners in it that will work well with a PC to help remove and not just hide light swirls but I find it works best with a glaze or even light polish. Meguiars #20 Polymer Sealer is also a nice base for NXT since it has somewhat more aggresive (mostly chemical) cleaners in it. Sort of like using the Klasse twins.

Durability? I've only had my hands on it since the middle of January and I am still getting good beading on my car and my customer's cars. It will probably be late March before I know anything for sure.

BTW, crazybenf-you want to resize and upload those pics again? 315k pics kill dial up. Another thing-you should notice tomorrow that your car looks even better and two layers look better (marginally) than 1, but going beyond 2 thin layers is a waste of product.

You wouldn't use Vanilla Moose under NXT? That's what I'm thinking of doing if it lasts at least 3 months. :x:

I've used AIO/NXT but I have only topped NXT with #16 Pro Paste Wax (Meguiars).

AIO/SG then NXT about 6 weeks later:

Grojet2000 (an AIO like product only available in Europe) and NXT:

3 weeks after using that combo on the Dodge, it still looks amazingly wet and reflective!
