friend borrowed my laptop (dell) and insisted she knew how to pick up the wireless network in the building at work. well, she clicked a few buttons and now it doesn't load any web pages even though there is a connection made.

I went through all the properties on the dell wireless mngt card and nothing... went through the regular wireless connection status program and nothing as well. I'm running out of ideas, can anyone help shed some light?

Probably an Internet Explorer setting. Make sure it's not trying to use a proxy server and that it's automatically detecting all other settings.
