Has anyone ever done a restoration project on an older truck? I just picked up a 77 ford F250 and I'm looking for ideas.

I'm currently restoring a 79 Suzuki LJ80. I was going to do my 79 Bronco, but it was beyond saving as far as the floor pan goes. As long as you got a good truck to work with, go for it. I usually like rust free trucks with mint interiors, cause I hate fixing rust, and I hate interiors. The rest is easy. Paint it up in a factory scheme (Ford had some pretty cool factory graphics), lift it and throw some 35s on it. 4" lift you could run 38s on the street if you wanted.

right now im restoring a 1980 chevy truck and i just now bought a new cab and fenders for it, converted things to a newer version and now am rebuilding the engine and i'll be done buy this winter (minus the paint)

when you rebuild/restore anything i think it's a lot about budget and your personal taste
