So a buddy of mine was asking me about this residue over his headlights (2000 Neon). Here's an example (not his car, but same problem)

I'd doesnt appear that It would come off from just washing the car, but is there any easy way to get it off?

    Thanks guys

A light polish or claybar should take it off. Are you sure it's on the outside of the lens?

Yeh, its like a rough surface. Forgot about the clay bar tho, I'll tell him to give it a try.

Use a polish, should take the residue right off. I see that all the time.
