what is it
should have called it "Black Edition"
Did they fix it and actually make it a survival horror game this time?
no love for PC?
please tell me the control mechanics has changed. walking while shooting that for example
but whos the black dude and the blonde chick (never played re4 yet)
That actually looks pretty sick
youre an idiot, why change something that has never been implemented in any other RE series. you dont like it, dont play it. the set up works fine
cannot pirate on 360?
Idiots like you are why RE is becoming more arcadey, this isn't Halo idiot.
RE2 and Code Veronica > *
Too bad the games are hardly survival horror anymore.
So the entire cut scene where they went back to the mansion will be playable?

RE-4 was the best of the series, not as creepy as it's predecessors, but much more fun imo.
Yeah - great game. I enjoyed the style much more. Played all of the games but didnt finish most of them.
1 just got kind of boring after a little while. Moved too slow.
2 was tough, and eventually I got to a point where I'd be cutting it close with ammo any time I'd run into a bunch of enemies. I'd have to play parts over and over until I could pull it off with the the minimal ammo I had left and move on....then I'd get a little further and eventually run into another part where ammo became an issue again. Sorta lost interest when this started happening between every save point.
3 I think I got stuck at the end.
Code Veronica was awesome and I was pretty far into it...and then I was stuck and saved in a room where I couldn't back track or get out without killing some tough enemies. Unfortunately I fell into it super low on ammo and it was impossible to pass with my ammo and knifing was out of the question...since I couldnt go back to search for ammo, and couldnt move forward...my only option was to start over - but I was hours and hours in and didnt want to do that - so I just said fuck it and sold it (dreamcast days).
4 was the first one that had the challenge, the depth, the horror...and at the same time they gave you enough ammo to work with even if you were cutting it close at times. Plus the revamped style was a HUGE improvement and made it way more fun....perfect at the time.
I found that when I started 5, those 2004 controls felt really awkward after all the games that I had played in between. If I had played it right after 4 I woulda been fine, but it took some adjusting to go back to those controls which were great back when 4 came out - but by the time 5 was actually done after years of being delayed they felt a bit dated and awkward. Still enjoyed the game and finished it but they definitely forgot to add horror - focusing on the origin of everything was a cool idea, but they could have worked with it to make it creepy too...so some of this extra stuff might be cool, seeing the mansion with today's graphics/style was awesome - I was so bummed that it wasnt playable but now it will be. I may pick this up.
On the Resident Evil subject, if you havent seen this already - check out the video for the original RE4 concept - looked pretty cool - would be sweet if this story saw the light of day sometime. Seemed way scarier - probably a whole different direction. Check it out:
