    Does it ever happen ??

I get out in December towards the IRR. Most likely, I'll stay in the IRR for my 2 years. But in the event that I want to reenlist, in a different MOS or perhaps go Active Duty, do yall know anyone else who's done so ??

Yeah, well the Marine Corps is a bit too broke to be offering bonuses.

Besides, I work in the Air Wing in an MOS that's being faded out, I think.

I met with a career counselor a few months ago, your unit should have one. They will tell you whether you are eligible to re-enlist and if any bonuses are available. If you are they will run your re-enlistment package which has to get signed off etc.

    No idea. :o

But I'd like to look back on my time within the Marine Corps with pride and not misery.... I don't know if that's possible, but I'd like to give it a shot. :dunno:

I agree, but a bonus should never be a reason to reenlist. It's just an incentive, and usually it's not much.

of course, they offered me 7k over 4 years. It isn't nearly enough money to make someone re enlist, but enough to make something looking for a reason to stay to do so.
