MMA Replay possible in the near future

    Im in favor of this as long as it doesnt end up becoming overused after its initial implementation.

    I'm not sure Crocop v. al-Turk is the best example of where this new rule might be implemented.

    IIRC, the fight ended in a barrage of strikes which was set up through an illegal blow.
    The way the amendment is phrased, it seems to allow replay-reviews only where the questionable strike immediately caused the end of the bout.

    I think he's talkin about those situations where a guy starts standing up and gets caught with a knee as he's coming up, and a lot of times its hard to tell if the guy still had his knee down or not when the knee lands.

    Makes sense.

    I don't like the "no kicking the head of a grounded opponent" rule anyway, though, so I'm not as emotionally invested in enforcing it better. :o
