replacing my preworkout stims for weed

    took two fat bong snaps before biking to the gym then ran a 5:54 mile and did 70 pullups among another hour of back and bi work

    then sauna and steam room with yoga... FUUUUUUUUU

    i would get full flown panic attack if i smoked and went to lift

    plus i would be too scared to lift and be around everyone

    the gods honest truth is that its really much healthier for you than all of those stims... and i used to need my stims before a workout... good carbs right before too of course

    just takes the right mindset and weed can really be used to make mind go over matter

    a couple of tokes usually just makes me focus really intensely on whatever it is I'm doing so I can see how it could work. getting baked though..nah.

    "tons of weed" may be a bit inaccurate, but he did smoke on occasion during the offseason, not before every workout though.

    weed is more healthy than stimulants? What med school did you go to?

    If you need weed to have a "mind over matter" feeling, than you need to reevaluate what you are doing at the gym and why you are doing it.

    I've seriously considered doing this to help with anxiety and calm down at the end of the day. But then I remember both my brothers are loser potheads....not interested in becoming that.

    you can be whatever you want to be. Smoking pot doesn't make you a loser pothead. Being a loser who also smokes pot makes you a loser pothead.

    No as in the two of them smoke ALL DAY EVERY DAY. They can't even wake up get out of bed and function without smoking.

    Sorry, that does make you a loser pothead.




    I'm not saying anyone who smokes is.....just that I fear this would become me too:o

    I do this occasionally. Last saturday I didn't feel like I had much intensity to working out, smoked a bowl and went and had a bad ass workout.

    As a heavy stimulant user (and probably stim addict, to be brutally honest), even I will concede this is true. Ventricular hypertrophy is no joke.

    and smoking isn't? The cardiorespiritory effects of smoking are just as dangerous as most OTC stimulants. They pose two totally different risks. I am playing devil's advocate here, I smoke weed on occasion, and I also use preworkout stims.





    I understand the risks with stimulants, but what I fall back to is the fact that the physiological effects of smoking weed before a workout are more likely to negitively impact your session versus taking stimulants before a workout.
