I am in the process of moving to a new CMS, and I have many old static pages that we would still like to use. Is there a simple way to repair our navigation hyperlinks found throughout our pages?

When I do something like that I use the "Replace All" function in notepad. I'm sure you already thought of it though and that there's a better solution out there.

Yeah I was trying to avoid that. We have several hundred static pages...probably close to 1000.:wtc:

why are you not using a single file with your nav and then doing an "include"???

There are products such as Visual Slick Edit that allow you to find/replace in a dir of files.

dreamweaver has multi-directory search and replace capabilities. even allows regular expressions.

i'm sure some other programs might work as well. notepad++ allows you to do it all on the open documents, but i haven't found a way to do directory searching.

    We weren't that smart then.:hs:

Most of them are older pages that contain static information. Probably need to totally revamp everything eventually...but that's for another day.

I've looked at solutions that allow a find/replace for directories and will probably end up going that route as it seems to be the only answer.
