etc. I can't really get into multi-episode series and ongoing sagas and shit. But I love the feature-length movies.

    Thanks.

I never thought I could get into all the multi-episode TV series anime, either. Honestly, though, in the "feature-length" movies, you just can't get the same level of plot and character development that you get from watching a whole series.

Try not to rule them out completely. :)

Oh, and Initial D: Third Stage was released theatrically. :) It's feature-length.

I wouldn't check out films like Escaflowne, they are mostly based on the series and assume the viewer is already familiar with the story of the TV shows, you'll be lost watching them otherwise.

Actully the Escaflowne movie is the only one connected to a series that I would check out because it is really more of a re-telling of the series and not an extention like Initial D : 3rd stage or Knocking on Heavens Door. Ghost is the Shell has a series too, but it came after the movie.
