I bought a faceplate for my phone off eBay a while back and could never figure out how to get the old faceplate off. I emailed the seller about how to do it and never got a response.

I can take the battery cover off and unscrew the two screws, but I can't get the smaller piece on the back off.

    Thanks :)

Look at the top of the phone where the power button is. You have to skinny flathead or piece of metal into that crevice. If the screen is facing you and you're looking down at the phone, the flathead will need to go down and towards the back and you need to pop off the antenna cover. Be careful though not to scratch the antenna.

Warning though. Once you do this, your antenna cover will always have a little play and it will feel loose. After you pop off the antenna cover, there are 2 more T6 screws and you can go from there. good luck.
