I am not a Mac user, but a pc user. But I think Mac users know much more about this. I have a photograph and have some yellow text on a t-shirt the person is wearing on the photograph. How do I remove the yellow text and make the area where I removed the text the same red color as the t-shirt? Note: I do not want to end up with a smudge after I remove the text as what is happening now.

Use the Clone Stamp tool with a smaller brush size, and then the Spot Healing tool. After it looks ok, then burn the shadows to make it blend in better. Make sure you sample area's of the shirt very close to the lettering.

I already figured it out. I used Paint Shop Pro instead. I used the object remover tool to remove the text. Then I clicked on the rectangle they gave me to copy the red pattern of the shirt over the original location of the removed text. Thank you guys for your help and input though.
