4 years ago, i shattered my right leg.. well, after months of being in a cast and a half year in physical therapy i learned how to walk again, but I've still been sore. My dr says i can get a couple of the screws removed the the plate by my ankle stays..

    surgery, i hate it..

I'm debating if going through surgery again is worth it, and if this will even help me.

after the pins out you feel 100% better, but your down for a few months till every heals and you do therapy on it. In the long run its better . .

my doc said that when the screws come out, there will be screwholes that may or may not be filled in by bone after the fact and might leave the bone less strong than with the screws in... i only have about 50% rotation in my arm though but im not sure its all because of the plate and screws. the union from the break is kind of "fat" with bone and scar tissue

my doc said it would heal . . . my rotation was really limited until the screws came out. Now I have 99% rotation, my flexon is really low though (60% of the orginal range of motion). . .

but you got me worried if the screw holes really healed. I dont wanta collapes a bone one day . . . i think im going in for xrays to double check. thanks man.
