removing salt stains from carpet.

    how do i go about doing this stuff? ive used some general carpet cleaner and stain remover and hot water, but it isnt help too much. any pros on here have some tips? usually i can get all of my car pretty clean, but this salt on my carpet is killing me.

    The salt stain might have stained the carpet? if that is the case you might have to match the color of the carpet and use a carpet die?
    try Oxy-clean /w cleaner and lifting the stain out?

    i feel your pain.. I have given up though. I am going to buy another set of mats to use during the spring/summer/fall and use my nasty mats and winter mats. If you have stains on the actual carpet (floor carpeting) try woolite with water.. works for most stains/fabrics.
