My car came with painted on pinstiping. It has never bothered me until it started coming off. Parts of pinstripe are slowly going away.

Is there any special compound I can use to remove what's left? I recently got a PC 7424, so I have the tools, just need to know which compound might be best.

I'd start with the least aggressive polish you have and work your way up to one that works. That would be the safest route.

If your car has clearcoat (most do, all new ones do) you can use terpentine or keroscene or diesel fuel....they wont hurt your paint.
