I unlocked my bro's old 3650 for T-mobile use while i await my new phone. Anywho, i've got this crappy "welcome to mlife" on the display and it won't go away, and even if i chose wallpaper, its still there.

Is there anyway to get rid of this? I'm new to the 3650 and don't know much about apps/games/etc/dogcrap.

I'd post on howardforums, but i'm not paying for that site as i'd never use it again after i get my new phone.

    actually...

    Go to:

Menu => Tools => Settings => Phone => General => Welcome note or logo

    Select "Image"

The rest should be pretty self-explanatory.

    Hmm...

You can do it somehow, cause I've done it on mine. Let me dig around again. That must have been the wallpaper setting.
