My notebook just got infected with the Vundo trojan virus 2 week ago. My antivirus McAfee 2008 detected and delete 4 of the file but there are others file still lurking in my notebook. I google removing Vundo, but all the removal technique is from 2005/2006 and none of them work anymore. Do anyone know how to delete the newer version of Vundo.gen??? I really don't want to have to do a fresh install as my last option.

Why use it at all? All you need is malwarebytes anti-malware

I don't seem to have any problems anymore after using it.

And yes, I've checked with other antivirus programs after using anti-malware
