I have a Clickfree backup drive that a friend gave me and I want to use it as just an ordinary external HD. However it has a 18mb cdfs partition that is being extremely problematic. Does anybody have any experience with these things?

I have access to a PC: XP and W7, Linux: Backtrack 4 and Ubuntu, and Mac: Snow Leopard.

Should be able to kill it using Disk Manager. My Computer => Right-click => Manage... => Disk Manager in the left-hand pane of the Computer Management window.
