GUN Remington 300 H&H mag

    There is a guy I work with that has one. He thinks it was made sometime in the '70's and is in good shape with no corrosion, wood looks good.

    He has never shot it. (probably because of the ammo $) I'm going to take a look at it tomorrow and probably make an offer.

    How much do you think this is worth if it is as nice as he claims?

    I wouldn't buy it, as 300 H&H is an essentially obsolete chambering, and a 700 isn't anything special enough to really be worth anything.

    after doing some quick research, the 721 was Remington's economy model, and the consensus is $250-$300 is fair if it's in good condition. :dunno:

    Buy it if you want it, but the chambering would turn me off :o

    The performance of the cartrige looks good, but not the price. I was kind of thinking about taking it to a gun show to make some $ off of it.

    i love to shoot these old cartridges that no one else does. Of course I reload so normally its not so bad once i get the dies and brass
