Reliable hard drive?

    I am going to make a raid array with my computer, I need recommendations on reliable hard drives. What should I get? Looking for I have support for 2 SATA II or 4 SATA drives. Recommendations???

    yea i went with seagate 2 300gb and put them in raid 0 after 3 months they are now slower then one drive.

    FAID0 is the reason it's slower. Not Seagates fault you ran the stupidest storage shit known to man.

    I have never had any problems with WD either.

    I run two raptors in RAID0 and 4 Seagate 500's

    Pointless thread, just like cars everyone has their favorites. You won't get a concise decision.

    Assuming it's Raid 1/5/1+0, fuck it, get the best bang for the buck.

    Worked with WD drives for the last 3 years. Never had one fail in over 500 computers.
