Why do you want to get all these sub-par guns like Walther and Beretta?

I got the P99 in .40, haven't had any issues with it, I've run all sorts of ammo through it. I don't know if any LEO Agencies or militaries use them though. I prefer it over my glock :o

How much did you pay for it, if you don't mind me asking? Also, do you have a Walther P99 or the new P99 made by S&W?

I've heard the S&W ones were garbage, but the German ones were super high quality.

Mine is 100% walther, I heard bad things about the s&w copies also, as far as I know all the P99's are made in Germany if they say walther on them. The SW99's or whatever S&W calls them are the U.S. made ones unless somethings changed and walther has s&w making them for them now in the US :dunno:

Everyone I talk to about P99's tells me that they're a waste of money when you could have a Sig or a Glock with night sights and more for less money... I don't know though, I just really like the look and ergonomics of the P99.

The P99 was the first new handgun I'de ever bought I handled alot of different guns when I was shopping and the P99 just fit absolutly perfectly in my hands. If you like them try to shoot one along with which ever other ones your considering, different people have different opinions can't really tell untill you try it out for youself.

I don't know what Sig you could buy wit NS for less then a P99. I'm don't even think you could get a new SigPro for less then a P99. I've held a few, like the way they look. It's one of the handguns on my list to buy, but it'd definately have to be a German made one. It's horrendous what S&W has done to the PPK/S, though. Ok, well not that bad I just don't like the longer tang.

My P99 is the best fitting handgun I have and has the best layout of controls to me. I like it better than my sig p226. Its trigger makes it 100 times better than a glock to me. I got a p99 with night sights and a couple mags for less than I could get a plain sig with regular sights for. The p99 compact is just as sweet.

If you like it and it fits your hand well, then fucking buy it.
