i decided that i needed to fix my form now befor something bad happens. on my heavyer atempts (250lbs+) i find i am getting hip rotaton and i lean forward entirly too much forcing my back to slump.

so today i did 5 sets starting at 135 going to 225 really focusing on my form.
I'll try to get a vid up after my next leg day to see if any of you pro star squaters can help me acheive greatness

cliffs: working on form anything i can do other then lower wieght and time?

I believe you are supposed to hold an arch when you squat

and I think also you are describing pelvic tilt, not hip rotation

Some people suggest using this as an indicator of how low you should go.

you're talking about rounding, not arching

Was just reading that in New Rules of Lifting. I've been squatting ATG for a year now, and it feels really lame to be only squatting to that point, which for me ends up being barely to parallel. Is this a flexibility issue? Are there things I can do to be able to squat deeper while maintaining the arch?

i started using a chair to help with this. I find if i have somethign for my butt to aim at (and touch) i'm doing pretty good form.
