Is there any way to do a fresh install for someone that has a windows vista upgrade key? If I boot from my vista DVD it says I have to boot from the OS. If their OS is fucked how do you do it? Install XP and then vista? That seems like a huge waste of time. Also when you boot from the OS it says you have to boot from the CD in order to do a clean install :hsugh:

Clean install 1st by not putting in the product key and not activating (ie you've installed a 30 day trial). Then upgrade non-activated Vista to Vista.
