According to Jackals Gym website ( http://www.jackalsgym.com/aspx/str_rehband.aspx ) they say to Measure around the center of the knee cap with leg straight in order to get the size correct.

Their sizes indicate Medium for 33-36cm and large for 36-39cm.

Measuring around the kneecap i get 37cm, so im wondering if i should just stick with the Medium for a tighter more supportive fit, or would that be TOO tight and should i opt for the safer choice?

I have to order online and there are no stockists for the 2007 sleeves in this country so i have no choice but to make a decision blindly :hs:

i got 1 size smaller, yet it doesnt take much trouble to pull em on
taking them off after training is obviously harder.. but still its worth the extra support
i wouldnt go by their actual recommended sizings unless u were planning to wear them for extended periods of time

I don't really know about this sizing, but I would recommend going with the older style

You can only get them in XL or above, and the new ones have started failing apart on me after 3 squat sessions and 1 day of wearing them. I went with the lower size on them so Im not sure if thats part of it, but it kinda blows

I got some generic one from walmart and it works well. My knees are super hot after I do legs with them on and all knee pains went away for me.

my supplier says they only have the Large in stock, and that looks like it owuld be too big for me..

there are no more medium sized of the 2006 style sleeves left anywhere as far as i can see...

i dont want to go buying ones fmor ebay and then get ripped off when they are just generic pieces of shit..

apart from writing a letter.. do you have any other suggestions?

I read somewhere that there are 'tommy kono' knee bands/sleeves out there that are just as good for o. lifters?

apparently the older style was thicker my a couple of mm, but apart from that i am not sure of the differences.. the new ones 'look' better but from what i've read it appears they arent as good for heavy duty use

yeah i was reading about him last night.. cool marketing story for the sleeves that they use :bigthumb:

unfortunately rehband and TK bands are both as unattainable over here as each other.. and equally expensive but i want to get the sleeve with the most support as opposed to heating effect.. might also call the olympic sports centre (med centre for the o games in 2000) and see what they would recommend in AUS..

    thanks for the help folks

I got the size below and I'm glad I did. Sad to see the old style is gone though, makes me rethink buying a second one.

The circled part is the part where the stitching started coming off on my other one. On the old ones theres one main stich which is what makes them so sturdy
