"refurbished" iPod

    so i found this deal on a "refurbished" 30GB video iPod for $199.99 (http://www.gohastings.com/Catalog/Dept/Stores_str.stm). to me it sounds like a great deal, because i know everywhere else it's being sold for $299.99.
    so what do you think of the deal? can you tell me what the whole "refurbished" thing is all about? is it a must-buy deal or should i rather stick to the conventional price?

    If it comes with some sort of warranty, be that the manufacturers (preferably), or the site that you are buying it from. No warranty = No buy

    stick with something that comes with a warranty...especially when it has a hard drive
